Corrosion in reinforced concrete structures (RCC) and underground storage tanks is one of the most critical threats to industrial asset integrity. Cathodic protection halts anodic corrosion currents by applying a controlled negative potential.

In marine jetties and coastal structures, the combination of seawater, oxygen, and microorganisms multiplies corrosion rates. CP design for these environments requires high current-density MMO anodes and continuous protective potential monitoring.
